Im well aware about crippling from [[you move like a dwarf]. Thats why I didnt bring it up.
Yes [[finish him] DOES have nice conditions to support discord, but you should realize that [[finish him] is only usable after the target reaches <50% hp so if your target is a tough boss that remains alive after one cast of [[finish him] then it would support discord. Otherwise, you always have [[you move like a dwarf] to prime your discord before your target reaches 50%hp.

Sorry but this is BS.. [[signet of lost souls][[finish him] can be casted at the exact same time. [[Signet of lost souls] has a quarter second cast time and [[finish him] is an instant shout. Which means when you click on [[signet of lost souls] then immediately [[finish him], they both activate at the same time.
[[Signet of lost souls] has a quarter casting time, [[finish him] is instantaneous. Sure, you can cast both but my target usually dies before [[signet of lost souls] completes casting. In any case, I dont need the energy from SoLS with max AP and soul reaping unless maybe when fighting a tough boss.

And what i find funny is the fact that you state that you dont have time to cast [[signet of lost souls] by the time the enemy is < 50% health. Which means you have effectively wasted a skill slot with a skill you admittedly don't use.
Sorry to disappoint you that I dont usually need all the skills on my skill bar to make a kill.

Quote:
It may be just me but if that were the case and i never had the time to use [[signet of lost souls] i would probably just trade it out for [[necrosis]
That is BS. You cant simply replace [[signet of lost souls] with [[necrosis] because you cant bring 4 pve skills in your skill bar. You have to choose which pve skill to replace it with, if you want to bring [[necrosis].

Normally i would agree, but as stated earlier, specing the full 12 points to deadly arts just for AP is a waste. So if you are worried about energy bad enough to waste that many attrib points, you should just figure out how to use [[signet of lost souls] effectively. Or at the very least, if you dont use it, take it off your bar.
No I dont. I have used this build vanquishing many times without needing to use signet of lost souls. But if your target is tough enough to remain alive after [[finish him], you can still use SoLS if you need the energy.

If you really really want to use 5 skills instead of 4 to kill a target just so that you can force a need to use SoLS and gimp yourself, you can always use a lower level of deadly arts. I dont see why you are making so much fuss that I dont usually need to use SoLS for my energy needs with my maxed AP and SR. If I really need the energy, I can still use SoLS. If not, then I dont have to use it.

Ya, i guess when your whole build consists of [assassins promise][ebon vanguard assassin support][you move like a dwarf][finish him] it really doesnt matter if you throw all your eggs in to the deadly arts basket and then fill the rest of your bar with crap like [[spinal shivers], [[rend enchantments], and the unused [[signet of lost souls]. Honestly if i was going to just throw random stuff on my bar, i would at least bring [sunspear rebirth signet] or [resurrection signet]. But eh, Its really not needed when you rely on your heroes to vanquish.
It seems that you are just trying to cover the hex/condition prerequisite without worrying about any support.

[deadly [email protected]][enduring [email protected]][mark of [email protected]][siphon [email protected]][pain [email protected]][assassins [email protected]][you move like a [email protected]][finish [email protected]] you could easily run that one if you want more potent support skills
[[deadly [email protected]] for speeding up all your deadly arts
[[enduring [email protected]] cheap cover hex with potential to reapply itself
[[mark of [email protected]] helps when you are up against multiple healers
[[siphon [email protected]] makes for better kiting.
That is a very hex heavy build that can be ran effectively by necro or ele. I only use the first 4 skills against bosses though. or heavy hex removers.

if you want more conditions then you can always
[deadly [email protected]][dancing [email protected]][entangling [email protected]][signet of toxic [email protected]][pain [email protected]][assassins [email protected]][you move like a [email protected]][finish [email protected]]
that way you can go 12+1+1 soul reaping and 12 deadly arts with no gimp to other skills.

It took me a bit to figure out to stop casting AP on bosses since my skills would recharge anyway...

I have to say that as someone new to playing a necro, Eye of the North was SO much easier than with my Ele (stronger, highly armored, less clumped mobs).

Barbs synergizes well with a minion army and is an awesome skill.

Do any of the Asuran summons synergize with a typical necro curses build?

(BTW, I was excited to finally finish EOTN so I could get a nice 20/20 end game focus. For some reason I couldn't figure out why I would run out of energy getting off my casting chain with the new focus. I finally figured out that I had grabbed the Droknar's DEATH focus by mistake... doh!)

[[barbs]+[[mark of pain] gogo. [[mark of pain] Doesn't damage the hexed target so [[barbs] makes up for it.

The Mursaat offers single target weakness, but why would you when [enfeebling blood] is AoE and far cheaper.

Ruby Djinn offers burning but again other cheaper ways of adding conditions are available.

I would still keep [[Rend Enchantments] on my bar in the situations that I need a deep enchant removal since my hero brings [[Rip Enchantment] instead for the faster recharge and the extra condition. [[Signet of Lost Souls] can still be useful against a tough boss that still takes awhile to kill. The rest are replacable.

I always try to cast AP close to when the target dies anyway so as to lower the chance of it being removed. Takes some practice to get it just about right most of the time.
